Wearing Christmas Colours – Green for christmas

It was a tedious task for me, I searched all over but couldn’t find any. I’m talking about a green fashion item. Green is personally not a favorite color of mine. I’ve always avoided wearing green and worse, wearing green and red for Christmas. I’m sure there are others like me, that’s why I’m showing you two ways you can go about wearing green for christmas in this post.

At the latter part of this post, I’d also teach basic tips to wearing red and green together for Christmas without looking absurd and unfashionable.
This is the second post in the series. (View the first)

For this part, I styled two outfits. I’m going to show you these outfits.

For the first outfit, I layered a white shirt with teal green and white butterfly print sleeveless dress. I paired that with a silver clutch. This outfit can easily be worn with a silver sandal heels or pumps.

The second outfit, I darkened. The first is like light and this is like darkness 😌😂
For this second outfit, I paired a green top with a wrap skirt with frill and sequins detail. I paired it with black round clutch and black ankle strap heels with diamonds on the straps.

My eyes are open joor…
Yes.. Green is a Christmas colour.. Not a personal favorite like red, but in combining those two colours, I like to go for varying shades. Shades that differ from the normal Christmas red and green.
For instance, I could pair a maroon or ox blood top with a darker shade of green like emerald or teal, or say a mint green jacket and red gown.
♥️

so I decided to give little tips on it and refer you to another good post on it as well.

  1. Keep it simple. A complex outfit can easily go wrong, so keeping your outfit simple reduces the chances of it being tacky.
  2. Pair different shades. You don’t need to go about wearing green he Christmas red and green shade, like I said in my reply. You should try pairing it in different shades. There are so many shades of red and green, just choose two non-Christmas shades and work with that.
  3. You could wear it in accessories with a basic outfit or layer it up like I did..

I recommend you see more useful tips here for red and green in street style.

This is an outfit I put together using a different shade of red and green.
