I think times are changing. The cycle is moving. Instagram is good, but we all need to get to know Pinterest better. On my last post, I wrote about tools that may help you prepare your blog for the year. Pinterest was one of them. Today, however, I’m going to take you through 7 fashion pinterest boards you need to follow in 2019.
First of all, let’s start with the basics.
Setting up a Pinterest account
If you want to open a Pinterest account, go to Pinterest.com and choose ‘create a business account’. You could also just choose ‘log in’ if you don’t want a business account. From there, you sign up. However, I’d advice you to get a business account especially for your blog and business.
Set up your profile by filling in the necessary boxes and following the instructions
Choose your interests – Pinterest shows a new member a number of interest they can choose from. This decides what would pop up on your feed for that time until you develop it by searching for another thing, or pining a new interest a number of times.
Pinterest studies your behavior. It shows you what you’ve recently shown interest in.
In Pinterest, unlike some social media platforms, you can follow a person or a board on a person’s profile.
A Pinterest board is like a collection of an individual’s interest, grouped based on their subject matter. For example, you can name a board ‘shoes’ and pin your shoes-related pictures there.
Now you have an account, you can decide on who to follow. However, I’m here with 7 fashion pinterest boards you need to follow. From modest fashion, haute couture, African Street Style to simple and minimalist outfits.
